In just under 24 hours, Islamist militant group Al Shabaab managed to carry out attacks on both Somali and Kenyan soil leaving a dozen dead and scores injured. Abdiasis Abu Musab an al-Shabaab spokesman said the group was behind a truck bomb that rammed into an AMISOM base in the Somali town of Beledweyne, North of Mogadishu claiming 17 soldiers from Djibouti were killed.
